The Sillages Kayak de Mer Quiberon club offers a variety of activities for individuals and groups: trips, half or full-day excursions, training courses (3 to 5 half-days). A big advantage is that the club doesn't operate from just one base. “According to weather conditions we can either go along the Côte Sauvage (Wild Coast), west of the peninsula, or in Quiberon Bay, to the east,” explains Eric Marion, the club's watersports manager. “This means we can ensure this a safe sport and that we virtually never have to cancel a session”. Still with safety in mind, each trip begins with an on shore briefing and all the activities are supervised by qualified instructors. As well as providing technical information, the instructors are also keen to tell you about the environment and natural heritage of the Quiberon peninsula. As for equipment, the club provides recent, high performance, well maintained kayaks. The club is open from Easter to the end of October, and the rest of the year on request.
