Generations ago, the owner’s great grandfather, an archaeologist, discovered the nearby tumulus that covered a Neolithic-era tomb, and decided to buy the plot of land next door. The house he built on that land has been passed down through the generations and is now a charming character hotel, perfect for a relaxing break and part of the Silence Hotels, or Relais du Silence, chain. Wallow in the heated pool, Jacuzzi or steam-room, then enjoy the body care and facial treatments on offer using organic products. All of the rooms and suites, some of which are at the villa Joséphine 150m away, are spacious, elegant and comfy with their own individual touch.
