When the weather is a bit dull, no need to wrap up warm, since the Hotel Thalasstonic is next door to the first thalassotherapy centre in France, created in 1899. Guests have free entrance to the steam-room and the salt-water pool, heated to 30°C. For rooms you have the choice between ‘confort’, with balconies and views out to sea or over the town, and ‘salon’, with significantly more space. Visitors are here either to take the waters, for a restful weekend with a choice of treatments, or just to escape one’s worldly cares. There is a guide to take you on excursions to the Isle of Batz or Carantec, or on half-day hikes. And if you prefer to be more independent, then there are studios or small apartments available.
