At 10 Rue des Forges in Ploërmel, the hotel and restaurant Le Cobh is a well-known establishment that is firmly rooted in the local community! Formerly a horse-drawn coach house, the venue has been welcoming travellers, traders and local residents since 1802. Behind its unassuming façade, the hotel – run by Julien and Eugénie – boasts 12 rooms, ranging from singles to family rooms, with colourful, plant-inspired décor, all set around a large courtyard and a garden adjoining the Carmelite Abbey. Just a stone’s throw from the Forest of Brocéliande, Lac au Duc, Josselin Castle and the Gulf of Morbihan, you’re also in the perfect spot to explore every corner of the region.
