Embarquez sur Eulalie

The Eulalie unfurls her charms around Bréhat island.
Sailing, Ocean cruises, Sailing in Île-de-Bréhat
  • A friendly-looking man awaits us aboard the Eulalie: dressed in his sailor's pea jacket, Dominique, the skipper, welcomes his shipmates for the day. At 9:30, this sardine-fishing boat leaves the port of Lézardrieux.

In the Bréhat Archipelago, sheltered by the Sillon de Talbert, sailing is a joy. The yacht handles well. There's no pleasure like the feeling of racing along as you haul on a rope (on Dom's say-so) or take the tiller. A lobster pot is lowered in the shelter of a channel between the rocks. After a bit of 'rock dodging', the Eulalie drops anchor in a flower-filled cove. On the menu, there's a picnic but there's also an introduction to nautical charts, wildlife and the history of the boat. Eyes shining and spirits up, it's time to set sail again. Mustn't forget the lobster-pot! The swimming crabs and spider crabs are further pleasures to be shared!
