  • This summer, follow in the footsteps of the painter and illustrator Yan' Dargent to mark the bicentenary of his birth at a dozen sites and museums in Finistère: Quimper, Landerneau, Brest, Morlaix... and Saint-Servais, of course, where he was born.

  • His work as a draughtsman is immense. Yan' Dargent left his mark on the Breton art scene in the 19th century. He was a painter and illustrator who made you feel the fantastic, legendary nature of Brittany like no one else! Set off to meet him by following the route "In the footsteps of Yan' Dargent": an invitation to let yourself be guided by the artist, to put the Breton landscapes in dialogue with his paintings, to find him in museums and other places open to the public: the Fine Arts...

At the Yan' Dargent museum, you can discover a painting by the artist that is still unknown to the public, his extraordinary illustrations of Dante's Divine Comedy and a temporary exhibition of contemporary engravings by Serge Marzin. Lectures, children's workshops and shows are also on the programme.
